ABOUT OPTIMAL LIFESTYLE
I first set up Optimal Lifestyle in 2004 having gained an MSc degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science and the Premier Training level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy (2003). After taking a break from PT to focus on a career in teaching and being a busy mum to twin boys I am relaunching Optimal Lifestyle in 2018!
I offer personal training, nutritional advice, weight loss programmes, group fitness sessions, body composition assessments, rehabilitation and sports massage therapy.
Sessions can take place in my home, the client’s home, a one-to-one personal
training centre or out in the park. Sessions are individually tailored to achieve specific goals and are regularly reassessed and updated accordingly.
I offer a free trial session before you commit and thereafter the offer of one free session with every ten sessions booked in bulk.
OWNER AND TRAINER
I'm a keen runner. I completed the Berlin Marathon in September. I am now training for the London marathon having secured a last minute place. I am running for Contact, the charity for families with disabled children.
I have twin boys who are ten, so understand the pressures of motherhood and time constraints. I enjoy working with prenatal and postnatal clients.
I am currently training to become a Pilates level 3 instructor and in September also qualified as a Tai Chi instructor. Both Tai Chi and Pilates were completely new to me in 2018, however I have seen massive mental benefits and also a huge improvement in flexibility helping to keep me injury-free
I get great satisfaction from seeing clients achieve their goals. I love the multiple benefits of regular exercise, healthy eating and looking after your body, physically and mentally.
